Our honourable keynote speaker was Mr. Nate Bramsen, born and raised in Senegal, West Africa. In his teenage years, after witnessing the lives of vulnerable children around him, he decided to devote his life to investing in youth with the goal of building the bridge between a child’s reality and their God-given potential.

Our honourable keynote speaker was Mr. Murteza Rafi Khan, a CGS alumnus from the 2002 O'Level batch. He then proceeded to complete his IB at Upper Canada College in Toronto followed by a BA in Economics & English at McGill University in Montreal. He is the current and founding CEO of the Bangladesh Business & Disability Network, a non-profit trust of the Bangladesh Employers' Federation, which aims to build a more disability inclusive labour market system in Bangladesh.
A team of 10 students from CGS Upper School - Agradeep Datta (11C), Eshan Talukder (11C), Shariza Alam (11G), Md Atif Islam (10G), Md Nurul Hasnat Tamzid (10K), Muhammad Sharaf Wasi (10K), Rafid Ahmed (10G), Sarfaraz Muhammad Imran (10K), Inara Husain (9C) and Zarrah Fatmi Ali (9S) along with Mr. Zia Golam Mohiuddin (Faculty Advisor) participated in the ‘AMMUN XXI Model United Nations Conference 2022’ hosted by Amman Baccalaureate School in Amman, Jordan from 16 to 23 November 2022.

A team of 6 students from CGS Upper - Areeba Tayyeb (10G), Bushra Osman Maliha (11C), Hiyam Binte Yusuff (11C), Mishael Samarah Khan (11G), Nafisa Nur Khan (11G) and Nayeer Abrar Chowdhury (11G) along with Ms Farzana Akter (English teacher at CGS Upper School) participated in the Round Square Zoom Postcard hosted by First Steps School of Arts & Sciences in Pakistan on 14 December 2022. The theme of the discussion was “Social Media Manipulation”. 120 participants from 21 schools in 7 countries (Armenia, Bangladesh, China, India, Pakistan, South Africa and UK ) participated in this postcard session.
